"The unsolicited pitch goes like this: "Camp Obama attendees will
receive real world organizing experience that will have a direct
impact on this election. Graduates of Camp Obama will go on to become
Deputy Field Organizers who will lead this campaign to victory in
crucial battleground states around the country."

The letter continues, "By participating in Camp Obama you'll get the
kind of experience that Barack got as a community organizer on the
South Side of Chicago, where he learned that real change happens from
the bottom up."

Good thing Obama isn't a Republican, else this type of stuff would be
considered dangerous and too much like You-Know-Who.

Bonus, Biden wins debate overwhelmingly:

"In short, Obama's ties to Ayers and Wright suggest to me NOT that
Obama agrees with their views, but that he is the product of a
particular intellectual culture that finds the likes of Wright and
Ayers to be no more objectionable, and likely less so, than the likes
of Tom Coburn, or, perhaps, a Rush Limbaugh. Not only that, but he has
been in his particular intellectual bubble so long that he was unable
to recognize just how offensive the views of a Wright are to
mainstream America, or how his ties to Ayers would play with the
public, especially post-9/11."

You know...the interesting part about the whole community organizing
bit, is that Sen Obama has basically rejected Alinsky's teachings.
Alinsky was big against the star politician as an agent for change,
preferring the work of mass groups.  Obama saw this was ineffectual
and began the the type of politician Alinsky denounced - and yet,
still relies on the whole CO experience.
