When I was a kid my family got a grey tabby kitten
whom my Mom named Jasper; he grew up to be a big cat

The original story of "The Brave Little Toaster" by Thomas Disch was
unexpectedly moving in spots. The movie...not so much. I was
especially sorry that Van Dyke Parks' songs for that cartoon were
pretty sucky.
