  <title type="text">GridView from client to server</title>

  Hi, &lt;br&gt; Can I get a gridview in the client side (GridView renders as a &lt;br&gt; &amp;lt;table&amp;gt;) and pass it as an argument to an AjaxMethod on the server &lt;br&gt; side? My problem is that I have a GridView with different controls in &lt;br&gt; it, and it&#39;s too hard to access those controls with javascript, so I &lt;br&gt; want to pass the whole control to .Net to access the controls easier.

  Hi, &lt;br&gt; Now check the following steps &lt;br&gt; if, you are using AJAX.dll &lt;br&gt; Step 1. you have to register the class in the Page Load &lt;br&gt; Step 2. &amp;lt;httpHandler&amp;gt; entry in the Web.Config &lt;br&gt; Step 3. Ajax.dll in the Bin folder &lt;br&gt; Step 4. before class method should have [Ajax.AjaxMethod] &lt;br&gt; if you are using AJAX enabled website or [tool kit], check the Web.config.

  Thanks all for ur response. I have registered Ajax in Page load. Also &lt;br&gt; have done the changes related to Ajax on web.config also. I&#39;m getting &lt;br&gt; the error 500 when callback happens.

  Hi all, &lt;br&gt; &lt;p&gt; My Ajax enabled website is working fine in my local system. But &lt;br&gt; when i upload it in the server the Ajax.Ajaxmethod() is returning null &lt;br&gt; value. Whether we have to enable anything on server. We installed &lt;br&gt; ASPNetAjax. Also copied the Ajax.dll, System.Web.Extensions, &lt;br&gt; System.Web.Extensions.Design, AjaxToolkit all these dlls in the bin.
